On February 2, 2023, Artist Ruben Rojas and Tequila Mandala Founders Craig Cartozian and Humberto Ibarra celebrated the launch of their limited edition “Love” bottle in time for Valentine’s Day at W Los Angeles – West Beverly Hills, The Living Room Bar.

It all started with one word — Love. With the idea that love can be expressed through art, Rojas has used his work to spread his message of love worldwide. From international murals and luxury athleisure wear to home decor, Rojas has made it his mission to remind people that love is an actionable concept expressed through all aspects of life.

The spirit behind this special edition “Love” bottle is just as magical as the tequila itself. Crafted from 100% Agave Azul, Tequila Mandala is aged for 24 months in Sherry Cask barrels for unparalleled flavor.

According to Ruben Rojas when asked about the connection between art and drinks, “I found a lot of similarities between Tequila Mandala’s process of creating bottles and how I create art. Each piece is a handmade, unique canvas. With their team putting in care and effort, I felt confident translating my art onto this signature bottle. This collaboration has been made for over a year, but true art doesn’t rely on time.” The process begins with selecting mature agaves which are then cooked in brick ovens and double-distilled for maximum smoothness and taste. This exquisite body offers a taste like no other – proving that true beauty comes from passion that is put into every step of production.

DJ Nacho, who won the 2022 Best DJ Award, then took to the decks and wowed everyone in attendance with a masterful mix of reggaeton, hip hop, and today’s biggest hits that kept the dance floor packed all night. Signature cocktails included Spiced Watermelon created by a mix of Mandela Silver St Germain, watermelon purée, fresh lime, and jalepeño. Guests also enjoyed a drink of Mandala Tequila’s Perfect Margarita created by a mix of Mandala Reposado cointreau, fresh lime, and tajin rim.

Tequila Mandala was established in November 2016 by the creative minds of Jose Joel Garcia Barreto, Arturo Lomeli Ibarra, and Humberto Ibarra with the intention of providing a distinct and luxurious drinking experience to the U.S. spirit market. Their Extra Añejo tequila is unique due to its hand-crafted and hand-painted ceramic bottle, a symbol of balance and harmony that has been around for thousands of years.

This mandala design is meaningful as it reflects life’s infinite capacity, having no start or end – it embodies peace, joy and all that exists in life. Tequila Mandala serves as an invitation to embark on a journey towards personal fulfillment and pleasure through their exquisite tequila. The founders have crafted a premium product that celebrates life’s extraordinary moments with balance, creativity, and sophistication – a true testament to the power of the mandala symbol.
