What inspired the wonderful recording studio that is Paradise Studio?
A life of music.
Did you face any opposition while bringing your vision to life?
Absolutely… we opened a month before covid and all the airports closed on the island for 12 months. No one in and no one out! We survived that year and now we are thriving.
What are your goals for Paradise Studio?
To host passionate artists, artists that are pursuing their dreams, artists that want to work and be productive.
Recording Studio at Project Paradise
Why did you choose the Dominican Republic to house Project Paradise, which makes up the luxury boutique hotel and Paradise Studio?
I came here to Cabarete when I was young to teach windsurfing. When I returned years later, I already had roots. I had put in my time in the music business. I was based in California and spent close to 17 years touring writing and releasing music. It was time for a change. I took a little break from making music to make a hotel for musicians.
What type of artists and creatives would you like to attract with the recording studio and hotel?
Always talented but equally passionate. Artists that are serious about their careers. I don’t care if they have 50 followers or 5 million. Are you on this planet for music? Then we welcome you.

Is Project Paradise/Studio able to accommodate multiple artists at one time?
Yes… we prefer to focus on one artist/project at a time. But if we have a collaboration and our artists need to host their entourage we can absolutely accommodate them.
Let’s discuss the space itself. Can you tell us about the layout, each individual room, and what’s included with the recording studio?
We are a boutique hotel, a mini resort, and a super villa. Accommodations have 12 private rooms, a pool, hot tub, gym, game room, and basketball all built inside our private little jungle. The nugget at the end of the rainbow is our Recording Studio. Paradise Studio is a commercial studio. We have gold-standard, state-of-the-art equipment to record and produce our artists.
What is your favorite aspect of Project Paradise/Studio?
The studio 100% …to be able to make music is really a blessing.
Where do you see Project Paradise/Studio being growth-wise, within the next five years?
Hosting and recording. Having artists from all corners of the world coming here and being productive. We will assist you and your team with everything, from airport pick-up, meal plans and private chefs, excursions and of course your Music. When you come to Project Paradise, you are our family.
