My Sundaze with David Christopher Lee

by | Feb 1, 2023

There is no denying that LA’s resident photographer and new publisher David Christopher Lee is always on the go. He’s hard-working, exuberant, and never failing when it comes to achieving satisfaction for his clients, whether it’s big brands, travel or celebrities.

But aside from all the glitz and glamour in his daily life, David Christopher Lee’s newfound interest lies in “biohacking” his entire being by developing a deep passion for holistic healing and wellness.

When the pandemic began, and all the parties stopped, David decided to push his body to the limits mentally and physically. He transformed his body in 6 months by choosing meditation, sports and nature, which resulted in a new outlook on life.

For this week’s column of Sundaze, our Editor, Cyan, sits down with David Christopher Lee and talks about meditation, most significant weaknesses and strengths, and the trend he wishes to eliminate forever.

What are you most grateful for?

I’m grateful for having the freedom to create. I’m grateful for being able to pursue my passion and choose whom I hang out with. I’m grateful for my friends, my family and the life I get to live. I’ve been to 3rd world countries, and it gives me so much perspective on how lucky I am. I have taken plenty of things for granted, but now I take the time to appreciate the life I’ve been given.

Sweet or Savoury?

Savoury because it lasts longer!

Most profound learning experience ever?

I have been screwed over by some good friends who had ulterior motives. I’ve learned how to proceed with caution and have my guard up. I’ve spent years building up my reputation, but a simple mistake of trusting the wrong people can demolish it.

Name the biggest pet peeve you have. It can be anything, and it’s no-holds-barred.

I hate it when people talk loud at a restaurant.

How do you use Sundays to de-stress from work?

I don’t think every day is the same for me. I meditate in the morning and night to clear my brain.

Who is your fictional superhero/idol?

Mighty Mouse

What is your biggest weakness and strength?

Weakness is delegating things

Strength is analysis and execution

What’s your hidden and weird talent that no one, not even your partner knows?

I can process information incredibly quickly. I can connect the dots very fast too. My mind is like a superfast computer.

What is a trend that you wish to obliterate forever?

Meghan Trainor

What did you want to do with your life at 14?

I wanted to hang out with celebrities. I’ve always had a fascination with the entertainment industry
