Short Bio
Born and raised in Bogota Columbia to a family that fled Nazi Germany. My first feature film, Wayward, is shaped by the magical world of Columbia while remaining grounded in realism.
In each day we’re alive, tell us the three things you’re grateful for:
My family. My health. And my imagination (it’s gotten me both in and out of trouble).
Favorite type of music:
Reggae and Rock & Roll
Who would you switch lives with for one day if you could:
I wouldn’t. Feeling lucky to be me at the moment.
Name the biggest pet peeve you have- no holds barred:
Toothpicks at the table and impoliteness — especially towards waiters.
How do you psyche yourself up for the day ahead:
The famous Nike line: “Just do it.”

Go to products in your bag you can’t live without:
Burt’s Bees lip shine
How do you use Sundays to destress from work:
Hot yoga, long walks and/or a marathon day of Scorsese or Coppola movies.
How would you describe yourself:
Full of contradictions.
What is your biggest weakness and strength:
My stubbornness. It’s both a weakness and a strength. .
What’s your hidden talent that no one, not even your partner knows about:
I guess the one thing that not a lot of people know about me, is that I am super intuitive.
What’s one trend you would obliterate forever:
Meanness masqueraded as truth telling.
