NAME

Kendall Wells

Occupation

Actor & Stunt Performer

Short Bio

I’m an actor and stunt performer specializing in fight choreography and bladed and flexible weapon arts. I began studying martial arts at age 8, and Meisner acting technique at age 12, and continued in some form ever since.

At 17 I began studying weapon arts under sword and whip master Anthony De Longis. I also specialize in Japanese swordsmanship, studying Shinkendo for 18 years. Wheee!

In each day we’re alive, tell us the three things you’re grateful for:

Cats, a moderately functional brain, and having a perspective and experience within the universe. Reality is nuts, I’m honestly just happy to be here.

Favorite type of music:

Synth wave, baby! And Greta Van Fleet. Doja. Lo-fi renditions of anything. You know. Music that makes me seem really, really cool. ‘Cause I clearly am.

Who would you switch lives with for one day if you could:

Probably some completely unknown non-biological form of consciousness in a distant part of the universe, just to change things up. Or maybe a celestial body, if they have some level of consciousness. Not sure how re-integrating into my current body / mind would go, but we’ll see what happens!

Name the biggest pet peeve you have- no holds barred:

People doing reaction videos to food on social media, and genocide – no THANK you!

How do you psyche yourself up for the day ahead:

I don’t, because I usually wake up at 110% ready to GO! And then slowly drain throughout the day, just like your phone.

Go to products in your bag you can’t live without:

Water. A moisturizing lip balm (Burt’s Bees Ultra Conditioning is my fave). And a fat stack of dosh. Can NOT forget that dosh, otherwise you can’t buy things like chocolate, and kombucha, and floral shoelaces.

How do you use Sundays to destress from work:

I’m in entertainment so my schedule is in no way consistent, therefore Sundays serve no special purpose! Wild card, baby! However, I de-stress as needed by petting cats. If there are no cats in the immediate vicinity then I scroll through cat vids on social meedz and simp for the felines until I realize two hours have gone by.

How would you describe yourself:

Oh I just wouldn’t! 🙂

What is your biggest weakness and strength:

Weakness: a tasty sweet treat. Strength: selecting a tasty sweet treat. But ALSO, my biggest weakness is probably intense imposter syndrome, and biggest strength is generally not contemplating my biggest strength.

What’s your hidden talent that no one, not even your partner knows about:

All I do is sell what talents I have, so everyone already knows all of them. Have you seen the cost of food? I can’t afford not to monetize a talent!

What’s one trend you would obliterate forever:

Not a trend so much as a certain kind of social conditioning, but people (especially younger people) acting decrepit when they hit some particular age even though they’re physically fine. Someday you’ll probably ACTUALLY be incapacitated by disease, there’s no need to rush it! Sheesh!

The best compliment you ever got from anyone:

I’ve been sitting here trying to think of one for like fifteen minutes, and I honestly have NO idea.

Social Media Links – Where can people find you?

IG: @im.just.kendall – I post quarterly, so enjoy the silence!
