My Sundaze with Madison Brodksy

NAME

MADISON BRODSKY

OCCUPATION

JOURNALIST

Sunday mornings are everyone’s favorite moment of the week. What do you spend your time doing?

I like to wake up early to get the most out of my Sundays. I usually start the day dancing around my condo listening to my favorite country and R&B tracks, all while completing my very thorough skincare routine. I then head to a lagree class at The Studio MDR to get a nice workout in and reward myself with a matcha latte from Starbucks. After that, it’s football time baby — and I usually end the day with some sushi and sake!

What are you most grateful for?

I’m grateful, That I am surrounded by humans who truly care about me and my well-being. It can be hard to find your crew and the spot in which you belong in a big city like Los Angeles, but I believe I’ve finally found the people who feel at home.

Everyone has a Eureka moment, when do you feel the most inspired?

While watching the sunset in Marina Del Rey!

What was your most profound learning experience?

The moment I realized I have a voice and I don’t have to accept what someone else wants for my life. I think it’s a beautiful, magical moment when a woman realizes they don’t have to want what their partner wants and can share what they are looking for and make a decision on how they’d like to move according to their own wants and needs in life.

What is your biggest pet peeve?  It can be anything and it’s no-holds-barred.

Being unorganized or late to absolutely anything!

What are the three things you can’t live without?

My silk pillow, my cell phone and love.
What are your most guilty pleasures?
Cuddled up in bed on a Sunday night watching a movie with some Ben & Jerry’s vegan ice cream.

What’s your hidden and weird talent that no one, not even your partner knows about?

I can twist my arm in a full 360.

What is a trend that you wish to obliterate forever?

Online dating – I’m old-fashioned and love meeting face to face.

What did you want to do with your life at the age of 15?

Exactly what I am doing now.
