Short Bio

Morgan Clae is a cinematic pop artist, classically trained vocalist, and pianist who creates immersive, emotionally driven worlds through music and storytelling. Known for her viral series turning iconic movie and TV scenes into original songs, she writes, produces, and performs her own work, often pairing it with visually rich, narrative projects.

Her latest project, LUNAIIRA: Soul’s Rift, is a high fantasy audio musical rooted in her cultural heritage, which has launched on and is now partners with Kickstarter and needs everyone’s help to fund. Check it out here!

In each day we’re alive, tell us the three things you’re grateful for:

Everyday, I’m most thankful for my friends. They are the ones who are here for me through all the ups and downs who bring me peace and joy constantly. I’m also so thankful for all the people and followers who’ve supported me and believed in my music and journey as I’ve set out to make my own dreams come true.

My parents instilled in me from the time I can remember that I was talented and that I should pursue the gifts I have which I know a lot of people don’t always get from their parents. I’m who I am today because of them, and I cannot thank them enough.

Last but not least, I’m so thankful for great food! Food brings me so much joy and it’s also a huge part of my love language. I love cooking for my loved ones and the time we get to spend together over great meals!

Favorite type of music:

I love music that builds the whole time, and classical music gives me that constantly. I listen to a lot of video game and move scores / soundtracks since that’s the type of music I want to create. Epic pop vocals over an orchestral composition will always be my favorite!

Who would you switch lives with for one day if you could:

I’ve thought about this a lot actually. I think I would want to live life through one of my great great great (and so on) grandparents from the 1100s-1600s. My family’s history has been erased on both sides and I want to know who I came from.

Name the biggest pet peeve you have- no holds barred:

I don’t like plans that don’t make sense. Be an adult, be logical, and think ahead.

How do you psyche yourself up for the day ahead:

Usually with a good song. I listen to a lot of composers for inspo and when I hear something I like and figure out “oh, they did this part like this!”, it makes me excited to apply that idea in my work for that day.

Go to products in your bag you can’t live without:

My LANEIGE lip balm and a travel size bottle of Aquaphor. I struggle with dry skin so these items are my lifesavers!

How do you use Sundays to destress from work:

Sleep a lot, or get a jump on the week by planning out what needs to get done! I also play board games and hang out with my friends on Sundays too.

How would you describe yourself:

Caring, focused, and usually thinking about food.

What is your biggest weakness and strength:

My relationships are the most important thing in my life so much that I find myself in situations where I neglect my own needs. It’s all about balance, and I’m on a learning journey!

What’s your hidden talent that no one, not even your partner knows about:

I’m really good at parallel parking!

What’s one trend you would obliterate forever:

The trend where people take photos of celebrities and add text like “how ___ could look a lot better instantly” and then edit their hair and colors and makeup the celebrity is wearing. Leave people alone.

The best compliment you ever got from anyone:

A while ago I got a message from someone telling me about how they listen to my music with their kids everyday on the way to school and now her daughter wants to start taking voice lessons. The girl said “when I grow up, I want to be the next Morgan Clae” and that alone has made me keep going so many days. I’m reminded that there are people who my music is important to, and that’s why I’m doing what I do.
