My Sundaze with Sarah Meyer

NAME

Sarah Meyer

Occupation

Publicist & Journalist

Short Bio

Sarah Meyer is a Midwestern girl transplanted to LA who relishes time in the sunshine under the palm trees. She works as a publicist, entertainment journalist and lifestyle blogger. When she’s not engrossed in the world of pop culture, she enjoys exploring her city and the world around her.

She is always up for an adventure, loves a good cheeseburger, is guilty of spending too much time at Erewhon and probably should have been a paparazzi, because she’s always had an eye for spotting the stars. She is now grateful to work among them.

In each day we’re alive, tell us the three things you’re grateful for:

My family, sunshine, the ability to move and explore the space around me.

Favorite type of music:

Pop music and 50’s and 60’s oldies.

Who would you switch lives with for one day if you could:

Dua Lipa! I’d love to be able to sing but even more so to dance onstage and wow a crowd in the same way she does. Plus her fashion game is on point.

Name the biggest pet peeve you have- no holds barred:

One the biggest is people listening to their phones without headphones in public spaces. No one else wants to hear your FaceTime call or the TikTok you find amusing!

How do you psyche yourself up for the day ahead:

I recite a mantra every morning to get in a good headspace and ready myself for the day. Some simple stretches help too.

Go to products in your bag you can’t live without:

Hand cream is a must. Hands are one of the forgotten body parts that age quickly and I’m trying to keep them soft and supple. Lipstick that gives me a pop of color and can be used on the cheeks as well. A backup charger for my phone and some hand sanitizer, because covid scarred me!

How do you use Sundays to destress from work:

I like to go for a long walk, make my to do list for the week to come, clean my house a little and watch a favorite show. Maybe hang at a coffee shop and people watch too!

How would you describe yourself:

I’m an adventurous girl who loves to laugh, geeks out on fashion, is a pop culture enthusiast and is happiest when traveling and spending time with loved ones.

What is your biggest weakness and strength:

Biggest Strength – my kindness and compassion. Biggest Weakness – French fries and chocolate.

What’s your hidden talent that no one, not even your partner knows about:

I can flare my nostril. Not a thing you show people as an adult but was a fun trick as a kid.

What’s one trend you would obliterate forever:

Tricky question. Maybe vaping. It’s so yucky and I see people sneaking puffs all the time.

The best compliment you ever got from anyone:

That I’m a good friend and always there for the people in my life. Also was voted best dressed senior year of high school and I cherish that memory!
