NEW YOU, the Voice of Health and Beauty, hosted their second annual in-person NEW YOU AWARDS on Saturday, April 29th, 2023, at The Miami Beach Edition hotel. The star-studded event featured celebrity guests Cynthia Bailey, Nicole Miller, Rudy Mancuso, Derek Warburton, Jill Zarin & Valentina Ferrera. Guests walked into a strikingly beautiful garden ambiance, adorned with enlarged NEW YOU magazine celebrity covers and sponsor filled gift tables. The NEW YOU Awards event began with guests networking with some of the biggest names in the beauty and wellness industry followed by panel discussions and award ceremony.
Last year’s Style Icon Award Winner, Derek Warburton, opened the show hosting the celebrity legends panel featuring fashion icon and NEW YOU April cover star, Nicole Miller; celebrity hairstylist and Starring CEO, Ted Gibson; Former Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Cynthia Bailey; Olaplex CEO Jue Wong; and board-certified dermatologist, scientist and health aging expert, Dr. Nicholas Perricone.
Afterwards, marketing mastermind and brand expert coach, Julie Solomon, led the innovators and entrepreneurs panel including KOIA protein drinks founders Maya French and Dustin Baker; celebrity makeup artist, Kim Baker; of Glamazon Beauty; Argentinian model, business woman and KAPOWDER creator, Valentina Ferrer; and YouTube star turned President of David Dubrik, LLC, Natalie Mariduena.

NEW YOU editors thoughtfully handpicked 21 deserving winners, out of which 9 were announced live during the event. With categories such as Entrepreneur of the Year, Beauty Executive of the Year, Influencer of the Year, among others, NEW YOU honored groundbreaking CEOs and entrepreneurs who are transforming the health, beauty, and fashion industries such as Kristan Serafino and Gabriel Samra.
The star-studded event saw renowned celebrities taking the stage as presenters. From the charismatic actor/comedian Rudy Mancuso to actress and television host, Adriana Catano, accompanied by her daughter, makeup artist and influencer, Gabriela Catano, the ceremony was graced by the presence of industry luminaries who added an extra touch of glamour and excitement to the occasion.
The event culminated with April cover star, Nicole Miller, graciously signing copies of the magazine. Additionally, brands such as Olaplex, British M, Dr. Perricone Water, Still Standing, Face Stockholm, ProbioticXL, POOOF!, Glamazon Beauty, Starring by Ted Gibson, and Jill Zarin Beauty, showcased their exceptional products and provided product sampling to the event’s attendees.
