Venice Beach Hosts Free World Cup Final Block Party with Revival House Project

by | Jul 17, 2026

Washington Blvd (between Pacific Avenue and Speedway) to close to vehicle traffic as Venice Pier District hosts FIFA World Cup™ Final viewing, live music, international talent, and official after-party on July 19

VENICE BEACH, CA — The Venice Pier Association, in partnership with Venice Beach FWC (FanZone26) and Revival House Project, will transform Washington Boulevard into a pedestrian-friendly celebration for the World Cup Final Block Party on Sunday, July 19, bringing soccer fans, locals, and visitors together in the heart of the Venice Pier District.

For the event, Washington Boulevard between Pacific Avenue and Speedway will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, creating a dedicated open-air festival environment just steps from the sand and the iconic Venice Pier. (The parking lot at Washington Blvd will still be open with a detoured route for entry)

The FREE community celebration will open at 11:00 a.m. ahead of the 12:00 p.m. FIFA World Cup™ Final, featuring a DJ warm-up, live match viewing on a large LED screen, and an afternoon and evening of live music, entertainment, and community programming.

The celebration will feature Revival House Project, Revival’s live house music collective featuring DJ and producer ALEXA PERL alongside a lineup of standout vocalists, musicians, producers, and DJs. Known for blending the energy of house music with powerful live vocals and musicianship, Revival House Project has built an international presence through performances across Ibiza, New York, Los Angeles, Germany, and the UK.

Joining Revival House Project will be Grammy-nominated house music legend Mousse T., whose career has helped shape global house and dance music for more than three decades, as well as Bender, resident DJ at Ibiza’s UNVRS. The lineup will also spotlight local talent including Danny Moggs B2B Scott Tweedie, Jon Besant, Marina Del Rave, and After Burn.

Running from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with an official after-party following at Baja Cantina (10:00pm-late), the World Cup Final Block Party will bring together international talent, local artists, and the Venice community for a full-day celebration surrounding one of the world’s biggest sporting events.

MORE THAN A WATCH PARTY: SUPPORTING THE VENICE PIER DISTRICT

The World Cup Final Block Party is part of a broader initiative by the Venice Pier Association to establish a stronger presence for the Venice Pier District through community programming, cultural events, and partnerships that support local businesses.

Created by John Cohn, President of the Venice Pier Association, the event aims to embrace the global moment of the FIFA World Cup™ while bringing residents, visitors, and businesses together throughout the district.

By temporarily transforming Washington Boulevard into a pedestrian-friendly gathering space, the event highlights the potential of the Venice Pier District as a destination for community events, cultural programming, and future neighborhood investment.

The event is privately funded and FREE and open to the public, with VIP terrace experiences available for purchase at select participating restaurants and venues. Future fundraising efforts will support neighborhood initiatives, including:

  • A signature “VENICE” sign above the entrance to the fishing pier branding the area as the Venice Pier District

  • Power washing and maintenance of sidewalks and streets

  • Enhanced private security along Washington Boulevard

  • Future community events and fundraising initiatives

  • Continued investment in local businesses and improvements throughout the district
